Adad Joel Warda |

Adad is a San Francisco-based Assyrian American filmmaker that writes and directs branded content and dramatic films. He lived in Prague for 12 years and traversed the globe throughout that time. He is trilingual, and his life experiences have provided him with a vast canvas from which to draw. His films and screenplays center on family, societal issues, diversity, and the environment. He was a finalist in the Screencraft Film Fund Competition as well as at the ATX Pitch Festival. His short film "Miss Her" won multiple accolades, including placement in the Oscar-qualifying LA Shorts International Film Festival and "Best Short" at the Illume Film Festival.

Levi Gordon |

co-writer / executive producer

Levi has always had a passion for film and has independently studied screenwriting while working as a veterinarian in New Jersey/New York and currently in Colorado. The Hard R was born out of his personal experiences where many around him misappropriated black culture. And, now, due to the Black Lives Matter movement and the recent public discourse surrounding race, he’s had many honest conversations and done research, leading him to tell this story.

Madisun Leigh |

A producer, writer, and voice actor, Madisun began her career as a media buyer, amassing 20 years of broadcast experience, with 15 of them at CBS Radio as an on-air personality/music director and as a program director at KNET. She has also worked in television as a technical director for FOX affiliate WMSN and held management positions in programming, music, marketing, and promotion. Madisun has broadened her portfolio to include Film Financing and Production, becoming production supervisor and director of operations for two production companies & vice president of operations at Global Pictures Media.

Jamie Ohlsen |

producer

The founder and CEO of Ohlsen Productions. She is a triple threat: producer/actor/executive. She's produced over 17 shorts, features, TV movie pilots, and web series. Her industry achievements have been recognized by several publications. She produced Alan Tracker, starring Richard T. Jones, and Wrong for Right, starring Omar Gooding and Eric Roberts. Both films are slated for a 2023 release. Never one to rest on her laurels, Jamie has a diverse list of upcoming projects.

Courtney Gay Wilson |

Courtney possesses a sharp mind, an engaging sense of humor, the witty gift of gab and a creative spirit. Since 2010, she has been the CEO & Director of Business Development for MLE/ATTN:PR, a full-service PR firm. During this post, she was able to ghostwrite for a #1-rated CBS radio personality, eventually earning her own byline as a staff writer for CBS’ WVMV smooth jazz blog. Shortly thereafter, Courtney was given the opportunity to punch up a comedy script for a film with comedic actor Kevin Hart and Jamie Foxx attached. This gave her more opportunities to pursue her dream. She has subsequently written and polished several TV pilots & features.


Isiah Flores |

Is an award-winning DP, Steadicam/Gimbal Op, Cam Op, and 1st AC living in San Jose, CA. He is an associate member of the Society of Camera Operators. He is both self-taught and art school educated with a BFA in Cinematography from the Academy of Art University 2009.

He shoos all forms of film, from narrative feature films to TV pilots to short films, documentary, music videos, commercials, branded content, and sports / action.

Marissa Vonn is a Director, Writer, and First Assistant Director based in Los Angeles, California. She loves telling compelling stories with unexpected protagonists and moments that tug on your heartstrings. Her past few films (Next of Kin, Domicile, and Knee High) were all filmed in Iowa with frequent collaborators, DEFT. She loves bringing together crews that turn into friends and keeps a strict “no a******s” policy. She is currently developing three features and is prepping to direct an episode of a sci-fi series.
